Fall colors on Pajarito Mountain above Los Alamos due to
quaking aspen and one of the
scrub oaks stands in the a spruce-fir forest (or
mixed-conifer forest).
Note: Heavy rains last night and this AM. The show of color might be over. I took the photo just in time!
That would be pretty to see while driving along. Good timing on your shot! We have heavy rains predicted for this weekend too, we'll see if they show up.
