A collaborative photo diary of Los Alamos County and related stuff
Doesn't look like a place where I would want to go; is it still contaminated?
I don’t know for sure, unsurprisingly, but I would seriously doubt it. The lab is very, very good these days about knowing where real contamination is and keeping people out of those places.I would not hesitate to go there, personally.
Ah! An "oldie but a goodie!" These legacy areas have been cleaned up. The sign probably should have been removed after decontamination. If the area were still contaminated, a new "modern" posting would have been posted. However, it's always wise to error on the safe side and maybe avoid that area and ask LANL some questions?
