If It's Thursday, It Must Be Cheaper Gas Day!

Every Thursday, the Phillips 66 and Conoco (just across the highway) lower their gas prices 10 to 20 cents/gal from 4-6 PM. Started by the Phillips 66 in White Rock, the practice has spread to other gas stations in town. Today - gas lowered to $2.59/gal; down from $2.75/gal; back up to $2.69 the next day. If you have a big pickup with an empty fuel tank, the savings really adds up.

Most folks patiently wait their turn. However, there are those that cut into the line. Unbelievable! Are they just oblivious, do they just know they are more important than everybody else, for maybe they failed to learn basic kindergarten rules

  1. Never noticed that. I will have to look for that on the way to work this morning.

  2. Your fuel prices there are a little lower than ours, ours is hovering around $3/gal.
There are always the line cutters. I just hope we don't get to a day where they are the majority and it's more of a surprise to encounter the ones who wait their turn.
