Descending the Main Hill Road

One of the things that I find wonderful about Los Alamos is the stupendous views everyone you turn. For example, all we’re doing here is driving out of town, and yet we get to look at the beautiful Sangres all the way down the hill.

p.s. I was in the passenger seat.

  1. I miss that drive. I used to live in Santa Fe and once when I was going up to Los Alamos for some orienteering, there was a dense fog in the low lands, but as we ascended to road we broke through the upper level of clouds and were astounded by the cliffs seeming to float on the sea of clouds. It was surreal to be sure

  2. Nice! Those open vistas are irresistible! (Glad you weren't driving.)
